Information

The Beppu Resort, top in Japan for the number of hot spring sources and volume of water discharged, consists of eight areas around, each of which has distinct and unique features, including spring quality and scenery. "Jigoku-meguri", or "The Tour of Hell", is an attraction unique to this resort, as it showcases the impressive energy of hot springs, including high temperature water, steam, and thermal mud. The tourist bus for Jigoku-meguri runs from JR Beppu Station on a regular basis.
