Botchan Train

Information
Botchan Train is a reconstruction of the kind of steam locomotive that ran from the 1880s to the 1950s. The train is a tribute to the Japanese famous novel "Botchan" written by Soseki Natsume, and the design of the train is based on the one that appeared in the novel.
The train connects Matsuyama city center to Dogo-Onsen hot springs and very popular to tourists. It is reasonable to buy a train ticket with Iyo Railway's One-day Ticket to get a discount.
