Travel Guide - Hyotan-jima Cruise

The island-like area which comprises the central Tokushima City in between the Shinmachi-gawa and Suketo-gawa Rivers is called "Hyotan-jima", or gourd-shaped island, because of its shape. The tour boat conducts 30-munite free cruises around the island starting from Ryogoku-bashi Bridge at Shinmachi Riverside Park. You can enjoy watching the beautiful scenery of Tokushima city and passing under the number of bridges. The boat runs about every 40 minutes.
