Kashima Soccer Stadium

Information

Kashima Soccer Stadium is a home stadium of Kashima Antlers, a J-League professional soccer team formed in 1991 with the full support of the city’s political and business circles. The museum in the stadium exhibits the team's trophies and other memorial items.
The stadium with a capacity of more than 40,000 is the Japan’s first genuine soccer stadium and was also one of the venue of 2002 FIFA World Cup.
