Komyozen-ji Temple (Koke-dera)

Information
Komyozen-ji Temple, established in 1273, is located at the next to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine. The temple is also called Koke-dera, or moss temple. The temple's garden, expresses a land with moss and an ocean with white sand, is the only Zen garden in Kyushu. The temple is also a good place to see the beautiful colored leaves in the autumn.
