Matsue English Garden

Information

Headed by a British gardener Keith Gott, Matsue English Garden was designed based on the English traditional style gardens of the 19th and 20th centuries. The garden consists of "formal" garden area, which is more artificial and well-organized, and "informal" garden area, which utilizes natural settings.
Visitors can enjoy the beautiful scenery created by many different plants. The flowers and trees combine to make a naturally picturesque environment that boasts around 500 types of plants all year round.
