Matsushima

Information
Matsushima is one of the Nohon-Sankei (Three Views of Japan), along with Ama-no-Hashidate in Kyoto and Miyajima in Hiroshima. You can enjoy the magnificent view of 260 islands covered with pine trees in the Matsushima Bay. The four view points ("Sokan" in Otakamori, "Reikan" in Toyama, "Yukan" in Ogidani, and "Ikan" in Tamonsan) are famous to view Matsushima. Sightseeing boats which cruise around the Matsushima Bay are also available.
