Miho-jinja Shrine, located in Mihonoseki Harbor at the eastern tip of Shimane Peninsula, is the head of all shrines deifying Ebisu, the god of sea, throughout Japan. This means that is is a shrine of great importance, drawing large number of people for two of its main rituals, "Morotabune" and "Aofushigaki" Shinto rituals.

  • 40 minutes from JR Matsue Station by the bus bound for Mihonoseki Terminal. Get off at the last stop and transfer to the bus bound for Mihonoseki. Get off at Miho-jinja-iriguchi Bus stop (30 minutes bus ride).
  • 15 minutes taxi ride from JR Sakai-Minato Station
