Misumi Park

Information

In Misumi Park, renowned throughout the Chugoku region for its azaleas, some 50,000 flowers including Hirado and Kurume azaleas have been planted in the park.
Tsutsuji Matsuri (Azalea Festival) held here in May features 50,000 azalea flowers in full bloom and attracts many people every year who come to watch the processions and children's Mikoshi (portable shrine) at Misumi Shrine next to the park.
