Travel Guide - Oura Tanada Rice Terraces

InformationInformation

Oura-Tanada Rice Terraces draws an arc toward the water, creating a beautiful landscape. There are large and small rice paddies set out on the 15 degrees slope that stretches from the coast. It is worth seeing the sunset here especially in the rice planting season (May - June) when each rice paddy is filled in with water against a backdrop of Iroha-jima Island in Imari Bay. Oura Tanada is selected as one of the best 100 rice terrace areas in Japan
