Information

The 440 meters long fountain on Lake Biwa, 180 meters off the coast of Otsu Port, is one of the longest fountains in the world.
The fountain is illuminated at night and its shape and color changes regularly as it is controlled by a computer.
White, orange, and green lights show the spray of the water beautifully.

Opening Hours

  • 12:00 - 13:00
  • 18:00 - 20:00
  • 15:00 - 16:00 (Only on weekends and national holidays)

Closed

  • 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month

Access / Public Transport

  • 15 minutes walk from JR Otsu Station
