Dogo Onsen Hot Spring Main Building was built in 1894 and was designated as a national important cultural property in 1994.
This wooden public bath opens with sound of a Japanese Taiko drum at 6 a.m.
everyday.
It is said to be one of the models and inspiration for the bath house appears in the Hayao Miyazaki's animation film, "Spirited Away".
