Ebino-kogen Plateau is the highest hot spring resort in Kyushu, located at the height of 1,200 meters between Miyazaki and Kagoshima.
Hiking trails are laid out in the plateau, which is dotted with crater lakes.
Ebino Plateau is also famous for rare alpine flowers called “Miyama-Kirishima.” At Ebino Ecomuseum Center, you can get the information of animals and plants in Ebino Plateau.

  • 70 minutes from JR Kirishima-jingu Station by the bus bound for Ebino-kogen. Get off at the last stop. * weekends only
