International Library of Children's Literature (ILCL) is the national library specialized in children's literature.
The ILCL provides internationally linked library services for children's literature and related materials published in Japan and in other countries.
The ILCL provides various programs devoted to enhancing the reading and information-gathering environment for children's books.

  • 9:30 - 17:00

Closed

  • Mondays, National holidays (Except for May 5th)
  • 3rd Wednesdays of each month
  • December 27 - January 6

Access / Public Transport

  • 10 minutes walk from JR Ueno Station
  • 15 minutes walk from Ueno Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line (G16) or Hibiya Line (H17)
  • 15 minutes walk from Keisei Ueno Station on the Keisei Main Line (KS01)
