Information

Jin Homura Art Museum exhibits the art works of Jin Homura, an artist and admirer of Shirakawa-go.
He set up his studio in this Gassho style house and worked here for 20 years.
The museum was opened after he donated the house and his works to Shirakawa village.
His red, blue and yellow-based colorful paintings are highly appreciated around the world.
The Gassho style house itself is also worth watching.
