Matsushiro-so is a hot spring inn operated by the local government.
It is famous for its peculiar reddish-brown Matsushiro Onsen hot spring and as being the secret hot spring reputed to have healed Takeda Shingen's soldiers.
The 100% natural hot spring never stop flowing.
As the hot spring water contains a large amount of sodium, it warms the body right through.
The inn offers three types of baths for each gender and welcomes not only overnight guests but also day-trippers.

  • 30 minutes from JR Nagano Station by the bus bound for Matsushiro. Get off at Matsushiro Sta. Bus stop.
