Information

Michi-no-Eki Shirakawa-go is a rest house which sells local products and souvenirs of Shirakawa-go.
The thatched-roof on this building is the same as the roofs of Gassho-zukuri style houses.

There is also Gassho Museum in the annex adjacent to the facility.
It explains the structure of Gassho-zukuri.
In the museum, a real Gassho-zukuri style house is exhibited.
