Travel Guide - Nishi-no-Mon Yakata


Nishi-no-Mon Yakata is a part of Karatsu castle and provides a resting spot for a castle town walk.
The facility keeps and exhibits cultural assets, such as pottery fragments and archaeological finds from the excavation of the castle area.
In addition, visitors can have a chance to watch the fixing of Hikiyama floats for Karatsu Kunichi Festival.
Karatsu potteries are also exhibited and can be purchased here.
