Information

Sai no Kawara-dori Street is located in the west of Yubatake and leads to Sai-no-kawara Park (It takes about 10 minutes to the park).
It is a vibrant street lined with local restaurants and souvenir shops, as well as historic inns which have been operating since the Edo Period (1603 - 1868) such as Yamamoto-kan and Ekinari-ya.
Enjoy the Kusatsu's famous Onsen Manju bean paste bun and Senbei rice cracker while strolling here.

  • 25 minutes from JR Naganohara-Kusatsuguchi by the bus bound for Kusatsu Onsen. Get off at Kusatsu Bus Termilal, then walk 10 minutes.
