Tsuru Tsuru Onsen Hot Springs got its name from the fact that the feel of the hot spring's alkalinity is smooth (The Japanese word "Tsuru Tsuru" means "smooth").
It is the closest natural hot spring from the center of Tokyo.

Locally-grown cedar and cypress timbers are used everywhere inside so that fragrance of forest hangs in the air.
There are two large baths of a European style and a Japanese style (with outdoor bath).

There is also a dining hall where you can eat the foods native to Hinode Town, and after hiking or exploring the mountain village, you will want to relieve your fatigue.

  • 20 minutes from JR Musashi-Itsukaichi Station by the bus bound for Tsuru Tsuru Onsen.Get off at the last stop.
