Yakushi-ike Park is a quiet Japanese park with the Yakushi-ike Pond at the center.
Each season brings different flower blossoms such as plums, cherries and camellias.
There are also two old folk houses of the Edo Period (1603 - 1868), the former residences of Nagai family and Hagino family, moved to the park.
The park was designated as one of Japan's Top 100 Historical Parks in 2007.
